Fill Text With An Image

Download the original Seattle at Dawn [here…]

1. Open up your image that you want to fill the text
2. Select the Type Tool and type some text
3. Move your text to where you want the image to fill it in
4. Layer > Rasterize > Type
5. Turn off the background image
6. Select > Color Range
7. Select > Inverse
8. Turn off the text layer and turn on the image layer
9. Right Click on the image layer and select Layer from Background
10. Hit delete
11. CTRL + D to Deselect
12. If you want to add a background color just create a new layer below the existing layers and fill with the color of your choosing
